I think that when I talk about COR at career fairs, or in my personal life, being an Encourager is at or near the top of my list of why I do what I do.
For me, it has been awesome to see other people having as much fun doing science as I have sharing it with them. In general, I feel like the studio is a safe place to try new things and expand what you know while having fun and I think I contributed to that with science activities. Overall it’s helped me continue to look forward to sharing my passion in science and it helps that I get to see other people caring about it for the same reasons I do. It has made me so happy when people ask how they can do what we did at home, or how they can do what we did at home. It is very fulfilling.
